My Approach to Counselling
One of the first things you’ll notice about my approach is that, unlike other counsellors who do a lot of listening, I am actively involved in the therapeutic process. I take a direct approach by asking questions and making suggestions. I believe it is beneficial that we don’t delicately approach the issue but rather tackle the issue head on, look at it, reflect on it and change or adapt it to improve your quality of life. I am renowned for my candor.
Another aspect that clients welcome is that you are therapeutically active between appointments. I suggest reading assignments and emotional exercises for further reflection and conversations between sessions.
